Picture taken when I was in 1st Grade

I graduated from Provo High School in 1981. After graduation from high school, I attended BYU for a year. I took some time off from school to serve a church mission in Bogota, Colombia. The mission work in Colombia was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot about myself during the time that I was there.

I returned from Colombia in 1984 and worked as a dishwasher for 6 months at a local restaurant called Chuck-A-Rama.

In the fall of 1984, I resumed my education at BYU. Although I was interested in both Geology and Computer Science, I decided that there would be a much better job market for computer programmers than geologists. I graduated from BYU in 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
